- ⅓ cup 78.86 ml buttermilk or plain whole milk kefir (room temperature)
- 1 cup 125 g all-purpose flour (weighed in grams or spooned and leveled)
- ¼ cup 21.5 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup 59.15 ml hot water

- ⅓ cup 78.86 ml heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup 85 g chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bar (>60% cocoa, high quality)

Chocolate Donuts
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease your donut pan.
In a medium bowl, mix sugar and oil, then stir in the egg followed by buttermilk or kefir.
